CIPTC in collaboration with Bao'an Library, has successfully launched a series of innovative English Corner activities. These events guided children through the magnificent landscape of "City of Mountains and Seas" and the vast starry sky of the "Chang'e Lunar Exploration Program," creating unforgettable journeys filled with both knowledge and joy!  

Fuyong and Xinqiao Branches: "City of Mountains and Seas" Adventure

At the Fuyong and Xinqiao branches, themed "City of Mountains and Seas," children embarked on a captivating exploration of Shenzhen's natural wonders. Through vivid English storytelling and interactive games led by foreign instructors, they immersed themselves in the city’s lush mountains, serene lakes, and vibrant coastlines. From the thriving Mangrove Forest to the verdant Tanglang Mountain, every landscape sparkled with newfound knowledge. A special animal and park trivia competition deepened their understanding and love for Shenzhen’s ecology. Each child transformed into a young explorer, passionately sharing their admiration for the land in earnest voices. After the event, participants exclaimed: "This was so much fun! Through games and interactions, I learned about Shenzhen’s natural beauty and made new friends. Thank you to the foreign instructors for their patience—my English speaking skills improved a lot too!"

Xixiang and Shajing Branches: "Chang'e Lunar Exploration" Space Odyssey 

Meanwhile, the Xixiang and Shajing branches hosted a cosmic journey centered on China’s "Chang'e Project." In a futuristic setting, children unraveled the mysteries of China’s aerospace achievements under the guidance of foreign mentors. From the pioneering launch of Chang'e-1 to Chang'e-6’s historic lunar far-side mission, each milestone ignited awe and planted seeds of cosmic curiosity. Creative space-themed games, like an exhilarating "Interstellar Challenge," allowed them to learn through play, their faces glowing with wonder and ambition.

These English Corner events were not just feasts of knowledge but also profound soul-stirring experiences. By telling China’s stories in English, children not only enhanced their language skills but also cultivated a global perspective and a resilient spirit to pursue their dreams.
